Rain, Rain and Chocolate Town

October 1st was not just the official beginning to the "Spooky" month, but is was also the day for The Chocolate Town Book Festival held in the sweetest place on Earth, Hershey PA.

This event had fifty authors representing romance, children, horror, mystery, and more. Originally, it was supposed to be an outdoor event. However, the weather had other plans with the remnants of Hurricane Ian bringing rain to our area. Don't get me wrong, I love the rain, but we were glad that the event were moved inside for the sake of all people involved. Including Seb, our skeleton, who you can see pictured beside me and my books in the image above.

I also debuted not only my second novel, just released at the end of August, but my new stickers made their first appearance in my new wooden container, painted to look like a book. They are dishwasher safe and weather proof, by the way! And while I did not get to meet with all of the authors who attended, I was able to chat with some of the ones located near me in the line-up.

Off to my left, sat authors Sherry Knowlton, J.T. Kunkel, and Sandy Nork. To my right, were fellow authors Sherry Ickes, and A.E. Faulkner. For more on their respective mystery series, or YA series, you can click on their names to be taken to their websites.

If you are interested in attending the event next year, you can follow Chocolate Town Book Festival on Facebook for the most up to date news.

Overall, it turned out to be a wonderful time chatting with authors and readers alike while chilling out in a library. What could be better than that?
