Book Signing Event

2nd & Charles in Hagerstown, MD
Heading down to Hagerstown, MD, I am delighted to be joined by my mother, and fellow author, for a book signing at 2nd and Charles during this Saturday afternoon. Be sure to drop on by to hear about our latest releases and to chat about books!
Peach Festival
August 15th, 2026 (7 am - 1 pm)
Mt. Airy Orchards in Dillsburg, PA
I'm excited to be heading on over to the Peach Festival, hosted by Mt. Airy Orchards in Dillsburg, PA! Stop on by for vendors, food, music, and tractor rides.
Breakfast is served (ticketed), and there will be Pick-Your-Own-Berries. PLUS...a BOGO on peach sundaes!
Craft and Sip
September 18th, 2026 (Starts at 2 pm)
The PA Tea Festival in Mechanicsburg
Decorate a charming teacup collage. The design features pre-drawn stacking tea cups on a tea stained mat board base. Working with assorted colorful pieces of paper, participants will adorn the teacups to create a fanciful craft that is user friendly for all art levels from beginners to advanced and everyone in between.
Fine art artist and talented author Sarah Ickes will guide you during this creative crafting session. Class will be held in the Author's Tent area of the festival with all supplies included.

At the bookshop, it was exciting to come back and do a class on how to turn a fake book into a book end with a hidden compartment! Each of the attendees left with a completed project that was ready for their book shelves. To see how to make your own, click here.

Bringing back the Peep theme for Downtown Carlisle's build-up to Easter, there was an art show held at The Penny Art Gallery where I was grateful to have three of my pieces exhibited. And even sold one as well!
